Batman Forever, the third Batman flick, has a new cast, a new director and a new, lighter, more cartoonish look. Batman 89 is a superhero comic book limited series published by DC Comics that serves as an alternative continuation of Tim Burtons first two Batman films, Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992), which starred Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne / Batman, while ignoring the events of Batman Forever (1995) and Batman & Robin (1997). But whatever you call him, he’s known far and wide as a comic book hero who’s managed to keep relevant in entertainment for decades, re-invented time and time again to answer a nation’s distress Bat-signal all. It would’ve worked if Batman gave two shits about Nygma in the movie.
